Call for Abstracts – Deadline for Submission: March 26th 2010.
Dear Postgraduate Student
The Plymouth Business School is delighted to announce the opening call for papers for the 2010 Plymouth Postgraduate Symposium.
Abstract Submission:
Submitted abstracts should be no more than 250 words which, if accepted, will become the basis of a paper or poster to be presented at the symposium. The abstract should fall under one of the following topic areas:
- Management information systems
- Tourism and hospitality
- Research Methodology
- Marketing
- Political science and International relations
- Finance and accounting
- Logistics, Shipping and supply chain
- Law
- General business and management studies
- General social science studies
Each presentation will last 20 minutes with an additional 10 minutes for questions.
Poster presentations are open to all postgraduate students but are a particularly good option for postgraduate taught students, first year PhD students and those who are unable to present a paper. Posters will be displayed at the symposium and there will be an opportunity for you to informally discuss your work with attendees.
As the submission process is competitive, the organising committee will review all abstracts and poster plans before deciding which applications have been successful. We will email you to let you know if your abstract has been accepted for poster or paper presentation by 16th April 2010.
How to submit?
If you wish to present a paper or poster, please send your abstract or poster plan along with your name, email address, school, supervisor(s), registration date and whether you are full or part‐time student to: tarek.kandil@plymouth.ac.uk
