Plymouth Postgraduate Symposium is an event which gives opportunity to postgraduates to publicise their research in Plymouth Business School. The aims of the symposium are as follows:

-To provide postgraduate research and postgraduate taught students with an opportunity to present a paper or poster in a friendly environment
- To provide a forum where we can engage intellectually with those in other disciplines
-To allow students to share their latest research findings, obtain feedback on research plans or exchange ideas on methodological innovation
-To give students the chance of achieving a recognised publication (through the published proceedings of the symposium)
-To rejuvenate our interest in our research and to have a break from the often solitary pursuit of conducting research
