PostGrad Symposium

BOOKING for the May 2012 symposium is now open and the schedule of events will soon be available

The Plymouth International Post-Graduate Symposium is a popular annual event that offers postgraduate students from Business, Law and Geography backgrounds the opportunity to present and publicise their work within a supportive academic environment.

The aims of the symposium are:

To provide postgraduate research and taught students with an opportunity to present a poster or paper in a supportive and friendly environment
To provide a forum that allows students to engage intellectually with those from other disciplines

To allow students to share their latest research findings, obtain feedback on research plans or exchange ideas relating to methodological innovation

To give students the opportunity to achieve a recognised publication; through the published proceedings of the symposium
To rejuvenate individual interest in research and to have a break from this often solitary pursuit
